Martin brings a specialised oil and gas capability to Arche Energy, having spent 24 years in the sector in both technical and commercial roles. His oil and gas capability directly translates into emerging clean energy technologies such as hydrogen, ammonia, and carbon capture, reuse and storage.
His experience covers a wide range of greenfield and brownfield energy projects (including onshore and offshore oil and gas, LNG, and CSG) in Australia and internationally in the UK, Russia, Kazakhstan, the Middle East and Africa.
Martin is skilled in the development and execution of major projects that involve complex stakeholder relations - from planning and conceptual stages, through front-end engineering design (FEED) and detailed design, to construction and commissioning, and handover to operations.
Martin is a Chartered Professional Engineer and is deeply committed to health and safety in the workplace and the use of safe work systems. He is also focused on client and stakeholder satisfaction and the quality of the work.
Martin brings a meticulous discipline to the development phase of projects, ensuring that risks are understood, that budgets and schedules are maintained, and that engineering processes are sound.
Key experience includes lead project roles with Shell and BG Group, and engineering and technical roles with Wood Group/PSN, KBR, IHS Markit, and Santos.
