Engineering ideas deserve more than just accuracy, they need flair. Connect with others who make the technical irresistible.

As part of the monthly casual meetup, Sarah Jansen is again bringing together professionals who specialise in writing, design, PR, legal, business development, and other fields that help engineers communicate with the wider world.

“It’s been difficult to find professional development events targeted at us non-technical professionals who help keep the wheels of infrastructure turning.

“Last year I started asking around about such events and the answer was consistently ’I don’t know of any, but I’d love to go if you find one!’

“Eventually I figured if I created something myself, it already had an audience waiting for it.”

The conversation topic for the March event is New Technology.

“Everyone is talking about AI at the moment, but not only is the technology still immature, we’re yet to fully exploit the potential of the digital tools we already have at our fingertips — some of which have been around for literal decades.”

“I am really keen to hear from my Musers about what untapped potential they see but haven’t been able to fold into how they work.”

Sarah will be hosting the meetup at The Charming Squire in South Bank next Wednesday 26 March 2025, from 5pm to 7pm. A $25 ticket gets you in, plus wine, beer, mocktails and soft drinks on the house.

If your work involves helping engineers share their expertise, this is the perfect chance to meet like-minded professionals in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Secure your place and be part of the conversation by visiting the registration page on Humanitix.
