Daniel’s experience and skills support the transition to a sustainable future. He believes that innovation, engagement with stakeholders and the development of low-carbon technologies are crucial to mitigate and adapt to climate change. Since joining Arche Energy in early 2021, he has been heavily involved in the development of the Galilee Basin Carbon Pilot Injection Project Implementation Plan.
An experienced Petroleum Engineer, Daniel has managed multiple upstream oil projects with a strong focus on social engagement and health and safety. He has a strong record of managing complex field operations and projects with the application of new technologies and innovative solutions, thriving on collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals and deliver projects within time and budget.
In all his work, Daniel prioritises effective social engagement with stakeholders to achieve the success of projects and has worked with communities in Australia and Colombia to understand the energy industry’s impacts. He supports the involvement of local communities in the development of projects. He recently completed a Master of Sustainable Energy Management at the University of Queensland, with an excellent academic record and multiple scholarships.
