The Greenvale West Solar and BESS Farm is a hybrid renewable energy that combines battery energy storage system (BESS) with co-located solar PV generation. The facility aims to strengthen local grid stability by delivering clean, dispatchable electricity for the National Electricity Market.

Arche Energy provided crucial services:
- Feasibility: assessed site suitability, yield modelling layout, and land constraints.
- Due diligence: reviewed technical design, cost estimates, risk, ensuring the proposed technologies met relevant standards.
The facility is estimated to be capable of supplying 180–320GWh annually. This is enough to power tens of thousands of homes.
With the capacity range of 100–175MW solar and 200–387MWh storage, this facility is sure to fulfill Victoria’s evening demand peaks using renewable energy. Successfully establishing the Greenvale West Solar and BESS Farm would be a promising significantly beneficial in terms of economy and environment for the region.
