George comes to Arche Energy having held roles in sustainability, energy conservation, heavy industry and rail. His skills include project management, contract management, major tender and bid preparation, and asset management particularly operations and maintenance costs. George also brings substantial hydrogen experience to the team through his Master’s thesis.

Since joining Arche Energy, George has been managing the grant funding application for the Galilee Basin Carbon Pilot Injection Project. He has also been involved in a confidential energy storage system and grid smoothing project on an isolated grid. George has 25 years’ experience in energy and infrastructure, a Master of Science in Renewable Energy, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronic).

He is a leader in safety performance with a passion for renewable energy and decarbonisation and in 2008, added to his formal expertise in this area completing a Master of Science in Renewable Energy, which included a thesis on hydrogen fuel cells.
