Callide B and C are the two power plants that make up the thermal Callide Power Station. Each plant has two generating units.
Before joining Arche Energy, one of our team members led the project engineering for the power station’s water treatment plant (WTP) including design review, commissioning trouble shooting and performance enhancements.
Wastewater from Callide B is fed into the WTP where it is treated in a side stream reverse osmosis system that removes most contaminates from the wastewater using a semi-permeable membrane. The treated water is then used in Callide C’s evaporative cooling tower system.
