Maryvale Solar Farm Due Diligence

Arche Energy provided pre-acquisition due diligence for a confidential client in relation to the potential acquisition of the Maryvale Solar Farm in regional NSW.

We completed a comprehensive review of the development stage of the project, including the site’s suitability for construction, and suitability of the approvals and network connection arrangements.

We also advised on the dispatch risk associated with the proposed network connection and the influence of the proposed Central West Orana (CWO) Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) on the project.

About the CWO REZ

Renewable energy zones combine new renewable energy infrastructure and energy generators like solar or wind farms.

As of early 2024 the CWO REZ is in its development phase and is approximately 20,000m2 in size centred around the towns of Dubbo and Dunedoo.

It is predicted to unlock at least 4.5GW of new network capacity by the mid-2020s and to bring up to AU$10 billion in private investment to the Central West Orana region by 2030.
