Arche Energy partnered with Oakley Greenwood to provide a concept study for Chinova Resources’ Mount Dore Copper Project in the Cloncurry region of Queensland’s North West Minerals Province. The project aimed to develop solutions for secure, efficient, reliable power supply for the proposed Mount Dore Copper Project.
The Oakley Greenwood-Arche Energy team evaluated several options, including gas and electricity transmission, onsite generation, and power station siting.
While the project is currently on hiatus due to low copper grades and market conditions, our study was instrumental in supporting Chinova Resources’ decision making around long-term growth and power infrastructure planning.
