Andrew Murdoch led the team that developed Adani Green Energy’s Whyalla Solar Farm. He applied his technical-economic nous to progress the project efficiently through development approval, land access and initial network connection studies.
The 6MW DC solar farm in South Australia is the state’s first completed utility-scale solar project and is the first stage of a three-stage project that will eventually generate 18MW. Construction began in January 2017 and the solar farm was officially opened by then-Premier of South Australia Jay Weatherill in January 2018.
