Welcoming David Nolan as Arche Energy’s new COO

Share on:

Arche Energy is pleased to announce David Nolan has earned a well-deserved promotion to Chief Operating Officer (COO). He brings more than 25 years of experience as an MBA‑qualified mechanical engineer.

His thoughtful approach and hands-on project delivery experience pave the way for his next step as COO at Arche Energy.

What David’s been driving

David has been with Arche for four years, during which time he held the position of Principal Consultant and quickly became a key role in major technical advisory roles, renewable energy studies, and complex planning work.

Over the years with Arche, he has been dedicated to some of the company’s most complex and high-impact projects. From serving as Study Manager on evaluations of potential HV transmission projects, to acting as Technical Reviewer for a hybrid renewables and gas power station for Liontown Resources, and Technical Adviser to EnergyCo on the Renewable Energy Zone project, he consistently brings steady leadership to big-moving projects.

The next chapter

In his new role as COO, David will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day operations of Arche Energy. This includes overseeing project delivery, supporting technical teams, and working with HR teams.

He will also take a more active role in marketing and business development activities, and maintaining strong relationships with current clients. This role will have David leading improvements across internal systems, processes, and financial performance.

Arche Energy’s growth journey

The promotion also marks a milestone for Arche Energy’s growth journey. With David now supporting the behind the scenes operational, our Founder and CEO, Andrew Murdoch, will have more space to focus on strategic opportunities, building relationships, winning new projects, and positioning Arche for its next phase of advancement.

We’re excited to see David step into this new role and continue shaping the way Arche drives energy transition. The leadership, steady approach, and deep experience make him an invaluable figure in Arche Energy’s future.
